A grand jury is supposed to start hearing evidence in the Jussie case this week. If he's indicted, he will face some consequences, although I think clever lawyering by Jussie's defense team will probably get this broken down to a lesser crime, for which there will be a no-jail plea.Jussie's career is over. They're already reportedly cutting his scenes on Empire, and it is unlikely the show itself will survive a scandal of this magnitude. Trust me, Jussie is in for some serious punishment, even if not entirely by the judicial system. Five years from now, he'll be a barista at Starbucks. |
