Okay, you say that, but do you realize that's not how it happened, don't you? The invading Arabs from north of the Sahara came into Sub-Saharan Africa, bringing Islam with them, and also bringing chattel slavery. When the Portuguese explored the coast of sub-Saharan Africa in the early 1400s, it was the same Muslim slave traders that gave the Portuguese the idea to trade that Goods in exchange for humans. I'm sorry, but that's what really happened. |
