He could have been a clan leader who had a bunch of children, with many of the members of the clan where his story was bandied about being his descendants. There could have been a violent dispute between two of his children.Adam could have been a real person while much of the story about him was fiction. Ditto King Priam of Troy. Consider also Jesus of Nazareth. He is genuinely believed to have been a real person, but even so much of the stuff written about him is very likely to be fiction. |
