Are you European? That's an attitude I've long heard from Europeans and their admirers, that the U.S. are upstart children rather than the knowledgeable cultured "Old Country."

Well I have news for you. The U.S. is no one's bastard child. It is the anti-Europe that broke from Europe's rotten monarchies.
