The left has been trying to erase the phrase "No king but Jesus" from US history. And some traditions hold that the stone that's placed under the British coronation chair is actually the throne of King David of Israel, originally the pillar stone of the patriarch Jacob (renamed Israel) and brought to Ireland by the prophet Jeremiah after the Babylonians invaded Jerusalem and took the Jews captive to Babylon. Luke 1:32 says that Jesus will receive "the throne of his father David".  |
