There are no Democrats or liberals seeking to infringe on any individual's rights to practice their religion. The second amendment mandates regulation of guns at the same time pemits them. The reason for permitting guns is the limit of the right. It is not nor was it ever meant to be unfettered. Last I looked, the 10th amendment is fine, and the Federal government is free to expand its influence with the Consitiutional power assigned to it. It's some of the states that are taking advantage of the Feds, by not properly fulfilling their obligations leaving the rest of us to pay their bills that's the problem.
