It makes no difference to them, despite what they might think.Part of what has made being gay respectable is that people came to understand that just because you're gay doesn't mean that you're a bad influence on children or a danger to children. Also, being gay doesn't mean that you raise your children to be gay. In contrast, the polygamist groups in UT and AZ have inherent child abuse risks built into their society. Until they figure out a way to fix those, they will never gain any sort of respectability. |
