Polygamists today live their lifestyles the way they do for the same reason that pre-Stonewall gays lived their lives the way they did.If polygamy becomes legal, it will not be practiced in fundamentalist communes or hippie camps. They will be your neighbors and co-workers. They will be your family members. They will be at your company's Christmas parties. It's not just Mormons and Muslims. They're here. They like beer. Get used to it. |
