I wish BO had picked a Democrat who understands that the relationship between the US and Israel must be kept strong. Hagel won't do material damage to this relationship. However, the reaction by the Republicans in digging up Hagel's earlier statements WILL damage this relationship. Using the state of Israel as a political football IS "Bad for the Jews" BTW, How 'bout Caspar Weinburger and Jonathan Pollard.??? I called my congressman today and reminded him that a Pollard Pardon now could remind everyone what the TRUE relationship between the GOP and the Jewish People really is.
The Republicans ARE Nazis.
