By the way, I didn't mean to ignore your comments about Hagel's thoughts on Israel. In a real sense, Hagel will be there to implement the policies of his boss as they apply to the Defense Department. If he finds that Obama's policy severely conflict with his own beliefs as applied to Israel, he has the option to resign the position if he cannot rationalize and resolve the difference. |
