Maybe, but I do know that those 870s from Los Angeles and surrounding areas also had the 8-cylinder engines and were pulled from service.I think the difference in NYC was that of that huge TA/PBL add-on order is that at the time the buses were first pulled from service... The TA had 637 non-lift equipped buses in service, but they still hadn't rec'd the final 200 (lift equipped) buses as well as the PBL buses which all rec'd their A-frame retrofits before they were delivered. |
