Not defending fare evaders on Staten Island but I will say buying a MetroCard ain't easy out there unless you're already at the ferry. At the very least retrfit those buses to take dollar bills. My parents live in Mariners Harbor Everytime I took the S40 their were folks getting on the bus asking for change of a dollar for bus fare. |
