Unfortunately, I know of no electronic media that accepts $2 bills, and one has to ask for them at a bank. Most bank branches I go to do not have then.I was in a Chase bank branch in New Brunswick last week. I asked for 5 dollar coins. She gave me 2 loose ones and took another 3 from another teller. She also said "I have a roll of 25 and I NOT breaking it". If you think MTA customer service is bad, try some large banks. NJT drivers don't like $5 bills for some reason. They may have to enter a code to tell the farebox it is not a $1 bill. |
