You stated that vehicles were cutting across the southbound left turn lane hitting pedestrians.The report states that the number of pedestrian injuries remain the same and does not discuss increased congestion on southbound Ocean Avenue north of Parkside or increased congestion on Flatbush by routing cars from the faster Ocean Avenue to the slower Flatbush. But congestion isn't one of DOT's concerns. It is their objective, only they renamed it "traffic calming". |
