That's correct. During the 1953-1959 period, the 5104s provided most service on Route 5, along with additional 4506, 4507, and 4508 buses. The 4506s were most common on Route 3, the 4507 were most common on Route 4, and the 4509s dominated Route 2. This pattern began to change in 1959 and 1960 when the 5106s and the New Look Fishbowls appeared.

The Whites only ran on Route 15, so if you were in Washington Heights you would never have seen them.

The FACO C50s generally ran on the M104 Broadway route sfter transfer from FACO. They joined the other Surface Transit Mack diesels based at Amsterdam Depot.
