I wasn’t aware that the city did not acquire the C-50s. as for not seeing the Whites on rte 15, I would often see the C-50s passing by while waiting fat 34 St for a bus the Wash Hts, so it might have been possible to see a White even though I never did. It’s a shame about the C-50s since when visiting my cousin in Tudor City, I used to like to get one of them to go across 42 St. |
