I lived in the "Hub" and either took the IRT or the bus to school. When I had early classes, it was the train.The Bx2 was a Kingsbridge bus; the Bx 1 Coliseum. Those first early a.m. runs on the Bx2 out of 150th street were run by Coliseum buses, which would later turn into Bx1s. I recall seeing Coliseum's GM 4509, 4510s, 5104s and 5106s doing the early a.m. runs, as they passed my apartment on Courtlandt Ave. They would just about get to Mosholu Pkwy when I was arriving by train. jrc |
