Your are pretending you have some knowledge of the Jersey bus market.You don't. I live here. I'll cherry-pick a few: The 114, most of whose ridership is east of Plainfield does not coincide with the Raritan Line, or any other rail line that every existed, i.e. Mountainside, Watchung. The portion west of Plainfield tends to have intra-Jersey ridership. The 117 is all of 4 partially filled 40' buses and runs along Roiute 22, a considerable distance from the RVL. That load is can be placed on one MLV coach on 1 train. It is a non-entity. Nobody is going to take a pokey Raritan Line train rather than Trans Bridge from P-Burg or Pennsylvania. |
