LIRR kills reverse peak service on the Main Line to do it. We are not doing that here. You would be hard-pressed to find a rush hour train that runs non-stop on the Babylon line.What you are calling for is 3 tracking the RVL east of Raritan. That is far beyond anyone's imagination. You also have the bottleneck between Cranford and Newark where NJT sees little use of both LV tracks in the rush. I commute on that line. I know. |
