Judging from what I have just read, the fact that talks between TWU & Veolia have been productive so far, is a very good sign. Sounds like the negotiations might go down to the 11th hour. As a very longtime union member, I can say with a fair amount of certainty, that neither Veolia nor TWU wants to resort to a strike. That would be a disaster for all, and a very tough ocurrence to repair!! The end result would be severe animosity between labor and management for months/years. Think Positive and Keep The Faith in God that all will turnout well. MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY HOLIDAYS To All.
