I wasn't trying to say that the TWU 252 and Veolia had a contract or an agreement to one.I was just saying that by the union had said that they were in "a race against the clock" to, what sounded to me, get a deal together before the new year or like the previous poster said the fear that buses won't run (unless like you said Veolia brings in their own people or some of members that had their applications accepted by Veolia cross the picket line) I was also just stating that from the Union statements, they didn't seem to lean in either direction if talks were productive between the two were productive or not. TWU 252 was a big union on LI for a while, with members working at MSBA/LIB, Suffolk Bus Corp, Suffolk Transportation Service, and Louis A Fuoco Bus Company. |
