Dunno, I don't see how a third door will mean greater fare evasion. I don't think anyone who wouldn't already evade the fare would be tempted to do it, since they'd know that it's obvious that the driver can still see what's going on at the extra door. And those that do farebeat today will be kept in check at the same rates as today by the drivers and/or the police doing whatever it is they do today to combat fare beating. So I don't see a problem.Yes, I agree, the benefits of a third door far outweigh any problems. |
