, a better on time record then the MTA
Yeah right, look at s92 on time record.,

friendly drivers
So, their job is to drive you to the destination safety as possible

and low prices.
Low prices for one way fare only. How about a person goes on the bus to ride multiple times a day, a week, a month? Maybe they could go to MetroCard operation and start using it like inmost agency in this area use it.

the only thing they don't have is 24 hour routes and Sunday service and Saturday service on some routes.
Suffolk Transit can run 24 hr / 7 days on some routes with high ridership. But most of ST routes can run 16 to 18 hours on 7 days with decent headways if it is possible.

the only thing they lack is that the roads get jammed during rush hour and make some buses late (though there is nothing they can do with that), it souds alright to me.
Well it sounds like Suffolk Transit did not update their timetables in ages so with increasing traffic, they should alter or adjust the schedule right now.

and no, needing Metro Cards does not count as an improvement because that doesn't help anyone except the people who have them. which i doubt are alot of SCT passengers since most are poor and elderly
Well you are an idiot.

MetroCards does provide an improvement and benefits with some discounts on pay per ride, unlimited rides ( means cheaper fare if you ride multiple times); and for the elderly; easy to handle to put the card in the farebox without carry the change to pay the fare.

But you forget some people do ride Suffolk Transit; college students, so there is another benefit
