Posted by Mac5689 on Tue Oct 7 00:18:13 2008, in response to Re: Suffolk Transit Bus Study Workshop, posted by GOLD_12th on Mon Oct 6 22:22:56 2008. define needs lots of improvemnet please?, cuz SCT has cleaner buses (inside), a better on time record then the MTA, friendly drivers, and low prices. the only thing they don't have is 24 hour routes and Sunday service and Saturday service on some routes. the only thing they lack is that the roads get jammed during rush hour and make some buses late (though there is nothing they can do with that), it souds alright to me. and no, needing Metro Cards does not count as an improvement because that doesn't help anyone except the people who have them. which i doubt are alot of SCT passengers since most are poor and elderly |
