Posted by Mac5689 on Wed Oct 8 21:30:09 2008, in response to Re: Suffolk Transit Bus Study Workshop, posted by GOLD_12th on Tue Oct 7 01:08:05 2008. its still lower then having to spend 2.00 one way for a week, a month, a year.can't run 24/7 cuz u have no idea what the ridership is like during the night, and besides the only places that would be open are 24/7 stores and there aren't many like that around. and u can't define a whole system from the S92, the last time i was in riverhead the S92 was only late out of Greenport, and the time before that the buses were on time. cheaper ride would mean the county would get less back from that fare and if that keeps up the hole system would prob end up crashing. and u are an idiot cuz even if they do fix the time tables u'll still get buses stuck in traffic!. the S61 runs every :30 min's but NYS 112 is only two lanes that it gets backed up for miles. $1.00 ride one way is benefit enough for college students. |
