This was a conversation about the Dallas system and them using their PA system to scold 2 subchatters and many here know for a fact that TMP has never worked in Dallas and only for NYCT & MNR. Those who know him knows for a FACT he wouldn't use the PA like that so yes it is an unwarranted personal attack, and if someone said the same of you we'd be seeing you whining. |

I not entirely sure issuing driver's licenses falls under interstate commerce or anything along those lines. I don't know if anyone has tried changing these sorts of rules, but the law that requires all driver's licenses to be recognized throughout the US only applies to full licenses. |

Also, I've personally seen you block the RFW on fantrips in a way such that small kids can't stand there and can make other conclusions based on that repeated action (I'm not the only person to observe this). Hmm...I could understand not recognizing the various 'junior' license classes as permission to drive (especially given how every state has different criteria an age limits for their issuance), but it certainly wouldn't preclude someone from using such a document as identification, including a state-issued non-driver identification card. |

I'm pretty sure it is still considered valid ID (I used my driver's license as ID in Brazil fairly often when I wasn't carrying my passport on my person and had no problems, usually to verify I was the rightful user of my credit card) but doesn't necessarily entitle you to drive within that state's borders. Pennsylvania doesn't recognize out of state learner's permits or provisional licenses, so if someone was pulled over and driving on one of those, that driver would effectively be driving without a license and subject to the fines and other penalties that result from that offense, regardless of whether they knew the law or not. |

Unlike you, I have a number of better things to do then to check up on Amtrak's current photo policy. My reply simply put what my understanding of the rules were. The entire point of this board is to share information and discuss a subject that all participants enjoy. Most posts add to that discussion; some are somewhat off-topic yet related, and a few are off-topic but of interest to some others here. You could have replied politely with a confirmation, or a contradiction; instead, you just chose to remain a self-important oaf who is afraid to sign his real name to anything. With the exception of when you post photos, your posts are often inflammatory, frequently self-aggrandizing, constantly antagonistic, and rarely useful. And when someone discovers or proves that you've been incorrect, you refuse to admit to your error. You refuse to even acknowledge the possibility you could be wrong. It's a wonder anyone ever takes you seriously; on a personal level, I think you should be ashamed of yourself, as you do not show people that you live your life by the principles of the religion you choose to observe, no matter how staunchly you may defend it. And stop being a such a pretentious attention seeker, Terrapin Station. |
