I don't know why; it's just an interesting contrast; of an old "subway" in LA. They really should not let something like that go! The thing is, that nobody out there seems to be even thinking of the idea. It's been completely written off. Somebody needs to stand up for it!

Well, the Blue Line (downtown LA-Long Beach) is mostly on the alignment of the PE Long Beach line.
