So, does anybody know what model the actual vehicle was? A long-abused R-42 with brakes of swiss cheese? A newer R-143 or R-160 whose condition would be more of a puzzlement?

If you're only going to read the most recent posts/threads, then you're set to miss a lot of posts/threads no matter what. Cluttering the board with repost threads still wouldn't guarantee you'd see them, and there'd be tons of downsides. Bottom line - you're missing a lot. But anything important enough will have new posts added often so you won't miss them. You don't need reposts. If you don't want to miss stuff, you need to start reading where you last left off. That's a win-win for everyone.

I don't see why what he said is more than enough since he isn't risking losing a potential career over and isn't posting names, badge numbers, or even the cars involved I found out already. No particular rumors of employee fitness, car defects, or track conditions were posted here. He gets his sources from RTO like anyone else here. He isn't posting anything from "anonymous sources", or quoting names, just headline details. As long as he stays to guidelines like that, he'll be OK on his own.

I usually do, but time constraints do not allow me to read everything I may want to, so if a title isn't catchy or describing what is in the subject matter, I obviously miss stuff.
