I thought that was a pretty good way of doing it.Downtown streets and stops are closer together. There's the sights, and the districts. Tourists I hope too (since it's a fare free zone). Outside of downtown you want to travel rapidly. It makes sense to me. It's just the stairs I wonder about. I wish I took an image of it. It's stairs with no railing. |

I thought I took a picture where the road veers off from the subway portal. I didn't. I haven't been outside in forever, excuse me for not getting all the details. You can sort of see the entrance ahead. Also, I wasn't sure why they had those railroad crossings facing perpendicular to the tracks, or what they're even for. Unless it's some "snow emergency" thing. |

Also, I wasn't sure why they had those railroad crossings facing perpendicular to the tracks, or what they're even forThat is weird. There's what appears to be a bicyle lane to the right of the tracks, so I was thinking it was for that so no bicycles go by while the train is there, but the arm of the gate looks like it would actually block the train. Who knows. |

They didn't go down or anything. I noticed them at most intersections, but it could have been at all of them. They appeared in good shape and had the barrier around them.Considering some of the surrounding streets had blue "Snow Emergency Route" signs, it's all I can guess. |
