Of course they have. But the possibility of it having been the Atllantic Avenue station is so preposterous, it is downright ridiculous. I doubts it if Dorothy Kilgallen ever set foot in the subways. Or are you saying someone brought her to the subway to kill her there then moved the body after the killing which would even be more preposterous.

No I am not going to name any names because that would only provoke arguments with others which is exactly what you want.

You certainly can be intelligent and promote arguments. I do it all the time. But you left out an important word "unnecessary" which changes the entire statement. I promote arguments to stimulate intellectual discussion. You provoke unnececessary arguments to promote personal attacks. That is quite different.

I didn't falsely accuse you of anything.

And if you cannot understand the meaning of my last sentence, then you missed everything I said.

Those shows are all 'after me' - meaning my TV watching days while growing up. I did a see a few minutes of Astroboy, once, while flipping the channels around for another show.

Probably watched it out of curiosity: 'what are these 'new' Japanimation cartoons all about?', since for some outlandish reason the theme song comes back to me*, like one of those inane AM radio pop songs or commercial jingles you can never get out of your head.

*"Go, go, go, Astroboy...etc." sung by a teenage sounding female. chorus (spice girls?)

I was browsing through a roommate's video disc catalog, back when the original ones were 12" in diameter like a vinyl LP, and listed as a Japanese import, in some kind of fancy embossed slipcase, were two or maybe three seasons of Astroboy....... I could only shake my head in wonder, bewilderment, disbelief, why? etc. (not meant as a put down if you were a fan of it)

Did you notice that the second study agrees with my hunch that only 33% of the population believes in evolution whereas the first study you cited claimed nearly half (46%) which I stated sounded suspiciously high? Then you added that it was only one of many studies which concluded that nearly half of the adults believe in evolution and you kept arguing how those studies were correct.

So what do you say now?

This is getting ridiculous. Drop it already. You referred to his "apparent youth" without any context. Then you said if he is in fact 50, he is still apparently young which is not a true statement unless it s made by someone significantly older than 50 like someone who is 80. Now you say for fact you know he is significanty younger. Who cares? Why does that even matter?

You were inconsistent because you brought up the median age thing which was irrelevant to te discussion, saying chances are he would not remember it even if you did not know his age. Then came some nonsense about someone being born five minutes ago not being 50 years of age.

I don't even remember what point you were trying to make and it wasn't important anyway. You apparently just like to argue about nonsense and won't admit when you make a mistake.

I asked Transit Chuck if he has any idea what Spider Pig (you) was talking about in reference to your comment about someone being born five minutes ago not being 50.

And you responded "yes he does he isn't suffering from dementia" referring to yourself in the third person without providing an explanation of what you meant, so you got me confused.

So instead of trying to act smart by going around in circles, how about answering the question? What does being born five minutes ago have to do with not being 50? I never said that being born five minutes ago meant you were 50 and I never said anything about R30 being born in 1965 or that he is 50.

Chuck perfectly understood my previous question whatever it was and answered accordingly. But you talk in circles and constantly bring up irrelevant points like someone being born five minutes ago. I am starting to think you are the one with dementia.

You were the one who said he was posting here a long time, not me. I didn't recognize his handle so I had no idea of how long he was posting here.

I did make a guess he was not old enough because it was fairly obvious when he tried to correct my original statement of accusing me of being wrong when I was correct. Later I added there was also the possibility he came here from another part of the country.

The point about median age you made really was irrelevant. But what I do notice is that he isn't dumb because he has stayed out of this entire conversation because he now knows he was wrong in his statement.

No I don't remember the point you were trying to make. Could you kindly repeat it for a senile old man?

I stated that someone born in 1965 would be 50 years old. Transit Chuck G merely confirmed what I said. I stated that I fully understood him.

You made an irrelevant statement about someone being born five minures ago not being fifty. That is what I am failing to understand. What does that have to do with anything?

Then you talk in circles claiming you were talking in context that someone who is 50 is youthful compared to someone who is 60 (when that point is irrelevant) after stating R30 is "an apparent youth" even if he might be 50, which is utterly ridiculous, because 50 is middle aged and not an apparent youth. Then you state for a fact later that you know he is much younger than that because you met him.

Then you call me a fool, pathetic, an idiot, and senile. By making all those insults, it is no wonder you and Terrapin are friends.

Ignorance of what? That there was another blackout in 2013?

I wasn't ignorant of that at all. Of course i remember it. I lived through that one as well.

I just made thhe post about the first blackout because it was the 50th anniversary but neglected to use the word "first". I never said anything about it being the only blackout. So there was no reason for any ribbing.

And the language he used was not a "light ribbing" but accusatory which was why I responded in the harsh manner I did.
