Id have to go for improper sealing. I'd have a serious chat with the contractor & have him fix the problem or spend years in litagation. When the MTA has a situation that can have blame assessed (remember Pullman-Standard) the contractors ass will be in court for the forseeable future.As for the water table rising, in that short period of time the rising, if any, would be miniscule to say the least. That arguement won't hold any water. (sorry) |

I just had a thought (a strange occurrence I agree).Based on what the tiles in SF look like I shudder to think about what is or isn't in the walls behind them. I get a strange feeling that in order to fix the problem - long term, at some point they are going to have close the new station for a while and re-open the original outer loop station (they'll have to put the turnstiles back in place). |
