There are several people on here who take the attitude that "this is just a message board" and that gives them the right to insult others at will. The problem is that many of us know each other from the fantrips and other events. Insulting someone on here is the same as insulting them in person. This board is not as anonymous as some would like it to be.The Turtle seems to have this attitude on steroids! I've heard many people say that he is nice in person and all he is doing on here is playing a game. Well his game has gone too far. He has lost real friends as a result of his online attitude. |

Kawasaki isn't making R160s for other transit systems other than New York, very much unlike how Orion is building Orion 7s for a myriad of bus companies. While used railroad cars can be modified to accommodate another transit agency (like the NJT Comet 1 cars that wound up with UTA, MetroLink, and SEPTA), subway cars are built specifically for the agency that will use them. |

I feel like the delayed R-179 would mean a car shortage for the SAS.When the SAS opens, they would probably need to reinstate the W since Astoria would be back to one rush hour line. Combine this with the extended Q and you have a real problem... Maybe some R62(a)s could get fitted with skirts and shifted to B division. There will certainly be a surplus after the 7 starts getting R142As... |
