Remember when everyone said that the M/V merger would not happen? While I'm not saying it will happen, the MTA might run 5 or 6 AM N/B rush hour J put ins from Bay Pky and return them there in the PM rush. There could be some political pressure behind the rumor and such a limited rush hour service might be enough to placate the politicos without incurring the full expense of an all day service through the Nassau cut. |

Even if not in service, these trains would have to be operated to/from ENY. Extending Z trains to 9th Ave adds no new operating expenses for the Nassau St. line. |

Even if they are stored during the day north of Chambers, they'd still have to be secured in yards overnights and on weekends. It would increase the cost of operations substantially. Z trains, OTOH already run to/from ENY (except for one in the afternoon that originates at JC).Another cost for either plan would be the need to move these Z trains to/from Coney Island. If you're gonna do that, than running them to Bay Parkway makes more sense. |

For those of you with Cable HD TV, they have the Three Stooges on the Antenna Channel, which is one of the extension channels of Channel 11 WPIX. I've been watching some of their episodes and they are hilarious. I have it on Cablevision channel 114. But even if you use actual antenna with a converter box, it's channel 11.3 or something. But of course you have to have an HDTV. |

At some point it will happen, simply because NYCT gets off on longer trips and more cab time for the motorman and conductors. Plus, it may make sense to send a few trains there. I'm sure people are still complaining about the loss of the M.While we're on the topic of Bay Parkway, now that the M goes to Continental, I've noticed that there are never 2 M's in the pocket at Met. Going to Continental has messed up Met terminal. |

Antenna TV is a DIGITAL sub-channel of WPIX. It's transmission is lousy, even through cable systems as goes out A LOT. You do not need an HDTV to receive it over the air, they don't even broadcast in HD only SD. You do need a TV that can receive DIGITAL signals. Even a 1955 Philco can receive a DIGITAL signal IF you have a converter box. |

It's full of work division rolling stock. Any Z train from 9th Ave would almost certainly have to come from CI. There are some R trains which end at 36th and 59th that lay up at CI during the day. |

Having 2 in the terminal is a pretty good sign that everything is normal. When a train comes in, dumps, charges and leaves right away, things are hectic.
