May I assume this was AFTER the IND connection at Church St was built? I just realized that last night....

I still someday would like an explanation as to this BMT 'car shortage' that seemingly started in the late 40s.....was the company always short of equipment and just never took care of it? Or did this somehow happen after the city take over?
