ESA will give the LIRR more midtown access than it actually needs.Correct. Remember, there is only so much service they can squeeze onto the mainline between Jamaica and Sunnyside. They've got roughly 40 tph/tk * 2 tks of capacity between HAROLD and JAY. Post-ESA projections are for maximum 60 tph on said stretch. |
