Do the new white tiles look nicer than the blocks?2. Since 96 St is a construction zone, maybe they aren't bothering to clean the walls since they will get really dirty after the following weekend's work? That said, those walls definitely could use a washing. 3. I'm sure the workers will "bother to clean that up, when the renovation's done or something." Just look at the new South Ferry. I'm sure those tiles were filthy from all the construction that happened after they were installed, but on opening day they were pretty clean.
