Originally though, the R-44 assignments were equally divided among the A, D, E, and F lines. As late as 1976 when I was the T/D at Church Av there were still a number of R-44s on the F and after the EE was eliminated and replaced by the N in Queens in 1976, a few R-44s even showed up on the N. |
