And any "safety" streetcar is technically, according to WABCO,
of schedule "SME". But the equipment is different. Safety cars
typically with an M28 brake valve and a K-1 emergency valve.
SME cars with various valves include M13, M18, M20, and an A1
or D1 emergency valve. The difference being that SME was typically
used where it was desired to haul one trailer car.
