Part III, posted by Osmosis Jones on Tue Nov 17 23:19:13 2009. Thank you much, good sir!! That pair is a shop move being oved about the yard, looks like from the east shop and off to the west end yard. Normally, the markers are on, and the headlights are to be used when moving the equipment as well. The only place in the territories you mentioned where scheduled meets in Manual Block System territory are scheduled and are included on train orders like Form Ms, Form Ds (NORAC territory), and if I remember right on the LIRR they are called something like Form 18s, not quite sure the number, as ordered by the dispatchers are the Danbury and Montauk lines (Montauk Line east of Speonk, Patchogue-Speonk has been signalled recently)(MNR and LIRR respectively). All of the other territories you mentioned, Port Jervis, Pascack Valley, North of Harmon, North of Southeast, and the New Canaan are all CTC/CSS territories or some are just CTC territories (Port Jervis if I am not mistaken). No meets are scheduled on the Waterbury as per MNR schedules for the Waterbury Branch. |
