The siding at BL Wilt (Near Wilton Station) is 1,195 ft in length. That's about 13 85 ft coaches plus an engine. The siding at BL Hill(Branchville) is 1,000 ft in length. That's about 10 coaches and an engine. Metro-North doesn't run trains longer than 7 coaches, so that should never be a problem. |
