From August '77 to August '78 it was my reporting point. Before that a year at Ulmer Park. Worked the B63 on the PMs. Definitly put in a lot of seat time. When I was taken off the trains, drilling in the IRT, in August of '76 I bitched about going to the busses relentlessly. But after all was said and done it was a pretty descent experience. The only thing I missed was being able to operate the R9s in service (by the time I went back the R9s were gone) and I still miss that loss today. Best wishes, Bob |
