Even though I missed operating the R9s in service I had the opportunity to operate the R9s in work service. I remember the FOUR Motor R9s. I was working Misc. Extra and I was told to report to ENY to pick up 4 R9 horses. All motors kicking I brought the train down the Bway-Brooklyn Line flying. Adding good brakes and it was a dream.Bob |
