The amount of mis-information posted here is amazing, considering that people here presume to be experts.I believe the "Metrocard transfer" available between Lex/63 and Lex/59 works like the one at Court Square: it doesn't matter where you originally boarded or swiped, but the transfer uses up the free transfer that is always posted on your Metrocard when you first pay. If you first use your Metrocard on a bus, and then transfer free to the subway, you no longer have the free transfer to use between the two Lex's. Of course if you have an unlimited card, the transfer is always "free". |
