If I understand correctly, the OOS transfer has nothing to do with an actual transfer.Realistically, I could take the 1 train from 86th to 66th Street. Then I could walk across the park to 63rd/Lex and I should get free entry into the subway (the card doesn't know that I didn't go down to Times Square and then take the Shuttle to the Lex) and still have a bus transfer available when I exit. |
