It dates from about 1880's, I think - maybe earlier. It was indeed single tracked untill 1917. Third rail and high plat came in 1985. The cross under was there from as far as I go back which is 1963. Commuted from there to NP from 1972 to 1980 every day. Been back many times sporadically since.
