They THOUGHT they had the money until the budget office came in with REAL numbers ... and so it goes. Agencies know to pyth away ALL allocated funds before end of Fiscal Year, lest stuff like THIS happens. New fiscal year is "random." Been there, done that. :(Bottom line, "Division of the budget" TOLD them they had money, then after they were given their account information, it changed. I've worked for agencies and saw the exact "game" played for 11 years before I finally got tired of being blamed for what political appointees blew. :( |
