I think that most of the tunnels were closed off already. IINM a big part was closed when they built the California Plaza Towers.The Subway Terminal Building was going to have a PE Car as an attraction but something happened to prevent it. I took a picture a couple of years ago of the car that they were going to restore. I think that there was something wrong with the tunnel. Some sort of oil or something. I think that it was a natural deposit and they had to seal up parts of the tunnel. |
