It's not fair to the people that use mass transit to have them subjected to panhandling and offensive odors just because most of the people that ride transit are poor. Our transit system is not a provider of homeless services and LACMTA is not the appropriate agency to provide these services.

100% in agreement.

If it means that I have to wait a few extra seconds before I can board a train at Union Station, then so be it. (Although they don't do this on the Gold Line, from what I've noticed.)
