The diesel portion of the NJCL is littered with grade crossings, almost as far apart as streets in Manhattan are. Ridership south of Asbury Park is minimal anyway. Bay Head NIMBYs will bitch about electrification, since they bitch about everything. I'd extend the wire to A.P. There's a mini-yard there to boot. |
