South of the elevated Patterson station is a diverging freight line and a large yard which is usually filled with tanker cars. It continues due south as the NJT railroad veers in a southeasterly direction. I wonder if this is a remnant of the old ROW. There is a spur near the Totowa station. I didn't know it was anything but a short spur. The Greenwood Lake line ROW also appears to be intact where it branches off near Mountain View, but it appears to be totally inactive. |
